Bow Summit showcases some of the most picturesque landscapes near the Icefields Parkway. This trek is my favourite to do in the month of June. There is still plenty of snow to have some slushy laps!

If you aren't a skeir it's still worth the hike up because you can scope out Peyto Lake from a whole other perspective.

On June 1,2017, my best friend and I made it to the Peyto Lake Trail Head for 6 am where we skinned up through the treeline. Once we reached the face of the summit we strapped our ski's to our back and began to scramble the rock face the rest of the way. The scramble is easy due to the kool-aid lake distracting me every 5 steps

Once the sun begins to hit the face it's time to start skiing down. The Avalanche danger goes from low to high in a hot minute once it starts to get heavy from the sun.
